11/1 Evening Accumulator

First off we headed to Bordeaux, where we wanted the simple task of a home win. The odds were stacked in our favour and for good reason, as the home side went 1-0 up before the break thanks to Vada. The visitors never looked likely to threaten and the 1 goal lead was doubled as in the 64th minute Sankhare put Bordeaux 2-0 up. This would be good enough to seal the match and land leg 1.

Next up we backed Angers to beat Amiens on the “draw no bet” market. As with the first leg our opponents never truly posted any problems or attacking threats. Almost identical to the Bordeaux game Angers went 1-0 up in the first half from a Crivelli strike and they doubled that lead early in the second thanks to Mangani. That would be a 2-0 lead they would see out to and take us comfortably onto the next leg.

The third and final French leg of our acca was St Etienne to beat Caen, also on the “draw no bet” market. This looked a little more shaky as the home side did pose a few problems but half way into the 2nd half the visitors took the lead through Hamouma. This would be a lead they wouldn’t look back from as they defended the rest of the match out and took us to leg 4 without even conceding a goal.

Short hop over to Netherlands now for our penultimate leg where we wanted Vitesse to overcome NAC Breda at home. Vitesse proved right away why they were the red hot favourites in this match up as they raced away to a 3 goal lead before half time with goals from Bruns, Linssen and Matavz. The away side did peg one back through Ambrose but it was too little too late and in the 77th minute the game was sealed through a Rashica strike. 4-1 the final score and onto the final leg.

Our final game took place in the USA as Seattle Sounders hosted Sporting Kansas in the MLS. We wanted the Sounders to win and complete our evening acca. Things went according to plan as like 3 of the previous 4 legs we took a lead into half time thanks to the ever impressive Clint Dempsey. That would be a lead the Sounders would manage to hold on till the final whistle. They saw the game out 1-0 and landed our 11/1 evening accumulator.
