16/1 NHL Accumulator lands on Sunday night!

The winners just keep on coming for us here at FST!

After successfully landing a 19/1 Win Accumulator on Tuesday and a 16/1 NBA Accumulator on Friday night, we managed to land a hockey Accumulator last night!

In total there was six games in the Accumulator and it landed at just over 16/1 odds. Here’s how it went:

16/1 NHL Accumulator lands

The Accumulator started in Philadelphia where the Flyers hosted last placed Buffalo. After a scoreless first period, Philadelphia was able to get the job done with 4 goals over the next two periods to seal the win with a comfortable 4:1 scoreline.

In the 2nd leg of the Acca we had the Chicago Blackhawks at home against the Edmonton Oilers. Chicago’s goalkeeper Anton Forsberg decided the game with 32 saves for the Blackhawks as they came out on top 4-1 in the end. The Oilers have now lost 6 of 7 games.

The Washington Capitals needed overtime to beat the St. Louis Blues in the 3rd game of the Acca. Although they were down 2-1 heading into the 3rd period, they scored twice to take the lead in the 3rd but the Blues forced OT with a 4 mins remaining in the game. Luckily for them Nicklas Backstrom was able to score in OT to give them the win. They now own the longest active win streak in the NHL with 4 wins in a row overall and 9 straight wins at home.

Winnipeg hosted San Jose in the 4th game of the Acca. They had little problems at home in this one. Goalkeeper Connor Hellebuyck made 31 saves and Mathieu Perreault scored twice en route to a comfortable 4-1 win. They’ve now extended their home win streak to five in a row.

Columbus vs Florida was the toughest leg of the Acca. The Blue Jackets needed a penalty shootout to take care of the Panthers. After 2-2 in regulation, no goals were scored in overtime which meant the game would be decided on penalties. The Blue Jackets kept their composure and won the game in the 8th round of the shootout. It was only their 4th win in 11 games overall.

And finally the late game between Las Vegas and the New York Rangers was the one we were waiting for. After a evenly matched first period which finished 1-1, the game was decided mid-way through the 3rd period when William Karlsson scored what turned out to be the winning goal. It was the Golden Knight’s 2nd win in a row which keeps them in 1st position in the Western Conference standings and most importantly it landed our Accumulator!
