Boxing betting is a little different to most other sports due to their lack of a recognised season, but with regular bouts taking place among the WBO, WBA, WBC, and IBC organisations as well as amateur boxing matches and regional events this simply means we can provide boxing predictions throughout the year.
Understandably most fights take place over the weekend, and we aim to update our boxing betting tips page with the latest boxing predictions by the Thursday to give you plenty of time to back our boxing tips before the action starts.
With so many different weight classes and organisations in the sport, boxing generally sees at least one major title fight every month of the year. Naturally some of these are more hotly anticipated than others, and for these marquee bouts we offer a range of boxing predictions to cover a number of different markets.
Whether you are a fair-weather fan who only tunes in for the next Anthony Joshua bout or if you follow every weight division and watch every weekend, we have all the boxing betting tips you will ever need!
Amir Khan makes his comeback fight against Manny Pacquiao which was originally set for April 23rd, however the fight has been put back until 20th May. Both camps decided to delay the fight in order to properly publicise it. Britain’s Olympic silver medalist has not fought since last May where he moved up two weight classes to fight Canelo Alvarez. Khan said on his Twitter page that his team has agreed terms for a super fight against the Filipino. Pacquiao won the WBO welterweight title against Jessie Vargas last November. The venue has yet to be decided for Pacquiao’s fight against his former sparring partner but the UAE is looking to be the most likely venue.
It’s a classic case of up and coming prodigy against the old gun at the end of April as IBF Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua defends his title against Wladimir Klitschko – A boxer who has been in the professional game for over 20 years. Joshua has won all 18 of his professional bouts by knockout, but he’s facing a veteran who has only lost four of his 68 fights over a 21 year career. Needless to say there will be plenty of research going into our boxing predictions for this one. It’s not just the IBF title that is on the line here either. The vacant WBA and IBO Heayweight titles will also be on the line, so our expert tipsters will be on hand to provide boxing predictions for one of the highest profile match-ups of 2017.
The action certainly doesn’t stop at the UK Heavyweight division. Gennady Golovkin is one of the best pound for pound boxers on the planet and will be laying his WBA Super, WBC, IBO, and IBF Middleweight titles on the line as he faced mandatory challenger Daniel Jacobs. Golovkin has won all 36 of his professional fights and 33 of them have been via knockout. There is a reason he’s one of the most feared boxers on the planet, but Jacobs has lost just one of his 33 professional fights and has a similarly impressive knockout record of 29. These two have 35 consecutive knockouts between them now, but neither have faced an opponent this tough in recent years. With so many variables our tipsters will be in their element as they provide you with expert boxing tips.
Each major boxing event is preceded by one or more undercard fights in boxing so as to provide some additional entertainment for viewers. These generally involve some of the lesser known or up and coming boxing stars, and as such with some thorough research it’s possible to extract a lot of value from the bookmakers. Our tipsters do just that to give you free boxing tips for all the major undercard bouts.
