When Are Your Snooker Tips Posted?
We aim to give our followers as much time as possible to get on our snooker tips, so for all the major tournaments we cover (such as the Snooker World Championship) we aim to get our betting preview up two days before the competition begins.
We also provide expertly researched daily snooker tips throughout the tournaments, which will be posted on our snooker betting tips page the night before.
Snooker Triple Crown Events
The Snooker Triple Crown is the collective term for the three most prestigious tournaments in world snooker, and as such we make sure to provide plenty of betting opportunities throughout these important events. The three Triple Crown events are the World Championship, the UK Championship, and the Masters.
Snooker World Championship
The Snooker World Championship is held at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield every year, running throughout the last couple of weeks of April and ending on the first Monday in May. The total prize fund reached nearly £2,000,000 this year, so it unsurprisingly attracts the best players in the world.
As you would expect, the Snooker World Championship is the biggest competition of the year in terms of both prize money and bragging rights, and as such we make sure to have plenty of betting tips throughout the 17 days of snooker.
Following closely behind the World Championship of snooker is the UK Championship. It’s currently held in the Barbican Centre in York towards the end of every calendar year, which means our betting tips for the event could provide you with a nice little Christmas bonus!
Held in the Alexandra Palace in London every year, the Masters is one of the most prestigious snooker tournaments of the season.
It may not be a ranked event, but it’s prestige is understandable. It’s open to invited players only and had a prize fund this year of £600,000, which is split between the highest ranking 16 players in world snooker. With the best players around pitted against each other, this provides an excellent opportunity to root out some betting value.
The European Masters
Formerly the European Open, in 2016 it was announced that the periodic competition would be brought back as the European Masters and held in Romania for the next three years.
Judd Trump won the first instalment of this revival, and with €75,000 being awarded to the winner of the competition it’s easy to see why it attracts the world’s best snooker players. The tournament as a whole included 11 of the current top 16 world players in the main stages, and it’s set to return in October this year. You can be sure our tipsters will be on hand to provide you with all the betting knowledge you need!
World Grand Prix
One of the newest tournaments on the snooker circuit, the World Grand Prix, was only established in 2015 but is quickly becoming one of the biggest occasions on the snooker calendar. With the winner taking home £100,000 and the tournament including the top 32 players on the World Grand Prix list it’s easy to see why it’s taken off so quickly.
Judd Trump took the prize home this year in Preston, and our tipsters will be back next year with all the betting tips you need for the tournament.
With the snooker season packed to the rafters with high quality events our snooker tips don’t need to end with the biggest events. Our tipsters eat, breathe, and sleep snooker so will be on hand all year round to provide you with the very best snooker tips available.
