Reason For Bury vs Woking Betting Tips

Despite taking the lead inside the first minute at Kingfield Stadium in the initial tie, Bury were unable to make it through to the second round at the first time of asking. A 25th minute leveller from Woking’s Philpot prevented the Football League club from having a smooth ride. The League One side now have the inconvenience of a replay, though, the fact that it comes on home soil is a positive.

When Bury took the lead at Kingfield in the opening seconds of the match, Woking looked as though they could be in for a long afternoon. However, the League One club did little else of note over the course of the 90 minutes. Both before and after the equaliser came, it was Woking who looked more likely to score again. A similar performance from the National League side, who should be feeling confident after the performance on home soil, in this match and they might just be able to cause a real upset.

With that performance behind them, Woking should be feeling upbeat ahead of this fixture. Tuesday’s visitors matched Bury in all areas during that 1-1 draw, and can count themselves unlucky not to have been in the second round already, as it was they who had the better chances, especially in the second half. At the prices, backing ‘Woking +1 Handicap’ is the way to go here.

Bury are indeed a League One side, but they’re far from being one of the better League One teams right now. Down in 24th position, the Shakers are in something of a crisis. On this basis, there’s every reason to think that this FA Cup replay is more of a distraction than anything else. Getting out of trouble in the league will undoubtedly be Bury’s priority, and so it’s easy to see them not quite being at their best in this fixture, especially if key players are rested for Saturday’s League One fixture, as was the case last time.

If Bury aren’t quite at 100%, Woking will be there ready to pounce. The Cardinals were very much up for this one on home soil and that won’t change here. Having already proved that they can tussle with a League One club who’re down on their luck, Anthony Limbrick’s men might just be up to outplaying their price-tag.
