Bournemouth vs Burnley

Bournemouth could only manage a 2-2 draw at home to Stoke last weekend, but in Burnley they face a team who have won just one away game all season. The visitors finally ended their winless season on the road last time out when they beat Crystal Palace, but they have still lost the vast majority of away games. They have improved recently and have scored in nine of theirlast 11 matches so I don’t expect The Cherries to get a clean sheet, but given Burnley’s defensive record away from home and the fact Bournemouth have won three of their last five home games and scored 12 goals in the process a 2-1 win for the hosts looks good.

FST predicts -2-1 Bournemouth

Middlesbrough vs Southampton

Middlesbrough’s relegation from the Premier League was confirmed last week, but with the pressure off we think they can get a point from this hosting of Southampton. The visitors have only won four of their last 15 away days in the Premier League and they are struggling on front of goal at the moment. Middlesbrough have been very poor going forward too, but at home they have been a bit better and given The Saints recent away record a 1-1 draw looks the best choice for this match.

FST predicts -1-1 Draw

Sunderland vs Swansea

Sunderland showed that they can actually play football last weekend as they beat Hull 2-0 away from home, although it’s far too late for them as they are already relegated. It’s obvious that they don’t handle pressure very well, but now the pressure is off they have started to show up. Swansea still have the pressure very much on them, with them sitting just a point outside the bottom three and needing some results to guarantee their safety. They have only won three away games this season though, so I think the hosts will get something from this game and a 1-1 draw looks the most likely outcome.

FST predicts -1-1 Draw

Dundee vs Ross County

Dundee have boosted their chances of Scottish Premiership survival since interim boss Neil McCann took charge, winning back to back games and taking themselves four points clear of the relegation playoffs. Ross County have taken themselves to 7th in the table, which is their highest achievable finish after the split. They have scored in nine matches on the bounce, and with Dundee conceding in six straight home games I can’t see any clean sheets being on offer here. The hosts have scored four goals in the two games since McCann took charge though, and with them having more incentive than their visitors we expect them to get a 2-1 win.

FST predicts -2-1 Dundee

Kilmarnock vs Inverness CT

Inverness CT kept their survival hopes alive with their win over Hamilton last weekend, but they have only won one of their away games all season and know that defeat on Saturday would spell disaster for them. Kilmarnock don’t have the best home record though with just three of them ending in victory all season. This is a must win match for the visitors, and as such we expect the hosts to try and keep it tight and they would probably settle for a draw given that a defeat would plunge them into relegation crisis going into the final stage of the season. A low scoring 1-1 draw looks the most likely outcome.

FST predicts – 1-1 Draw

St Johnstone vs Partick

St Johnstone may be in the running for a spot in Europe, but that’s not down to their form at home. They have just the 7th best home record in the Scottish Premiership, and they are coming into this game having lost four of their last six at home. Partick have got a result in their last four visits to McDiarmid Park and have only lost one of their last five on the road despite being the lowest placed side in the Championship group of the Scottish Premiership. They have scored in ten of their last 11 league matches, and with St Johnstone failing to score more than one in nine of their home games this season a 1-1 draw looks a good value offering.

FST predicts – 1-1 Draw
