2:30pm - AscotThe Chesham Stakes
Despite meeting trouble during his run, this Charlie Appleby trained son of New Approach showed a brilliant attitude to win at Goodwood in May and there is likely more to come from him this time around. William Buick takes the ride and he looks set to maintain his unbeaten record for the ‘Boys in Blue’ Godolphin with conditions to suit.
3:05pm - AscotThe Wolferton Rated Stakes
P J Smullen

He produced his best effort yet when second over this distance three starts ago at York and he returned this season with a respectable run at Newbury over an inadequate trip. He’s now only one pound higher in the handicap than that York run and with race fitness under belt, he can gain his third career victory for Ralph Beckett.
3:40pm - AscotThe Hardwicke Stakes
R L Moore
Won this race last year when holding on gamely to deny the very smart Highland Reel and he made a winning return to take the Yorkshire Cup with a canny ride from Ryan Moore. A drop back in trip should suit and a return to better ground conditions is another likely plus, so he should be very tough to beat if even matching that form from his latest run.
4:20pm - AscotThe Diamond Jubilee Stakes
The Tin Man
T P Queally
Comfortably won the course and distance British Champions Sprint on his penultimate start in similar conditions and he made a satisfactory return to finish fifth at York last month. He now has the benefit of race fitness and the return to better ground should help him hugely, so he looks the one to beat under Tom Queally.
5:00pm - AscotThe Wokingham Stakes
Saeed bin Suroor runner who was running well over in Meydan this winter, last seen finishing a good fourth in a competitive event at that venue in February. A 121 day break will likely have done him the world of good and he remains on the same mark as that latest run over in the Middle East. The drop back in trip will be fine and with Josie Gordon taking the ride, a big run looks on the cards.
5:35pm - AscotThe Queen Alexandra Stakes

Ran a brilliant race to finish fourth in the Melbourne Cup in November at Flemington and followed up that effort with a fine win in the Listed Sandown Cup eleven days later. He has not been seen since but he can go well fresh and this extra distance should suit him. Charlie Appleby and William Buick are a combination in good form and with conditions to suit, he looks the one to beat.
