Liverpool swoop in late for Bruno Fernandes?
Liverpool have moved in to 1/9 favourites to land in-demand Portuguese start Bruno Fernandes.
The midfielder posted a photo on Instagram last night of him and his family on a plane, with a caption thanking Sporting CP fans for their support underneath, fuelling rumours that his transfer away from the club is close to completion.
Tottenham and Manchester United were both thought to be vying for the 24-year old’s signature, though it looks as though Liverpool have stolen a march on their rivals.
Arsenal make Zagadou move
Arsenal are weighing up a move for young Borussia Dortmund defender Dan-Axel Zagadou, according to reports in France Football.
The 20-year-old has broken into the Bundesliga side’s first team over the last 2 seasons, having moved to Germany from PSG’s academy in 2017.
Zagadou started 15 times in the league for Dortmund in 2018/19, and the centre-half has represented France from U16 right through to U20 level.

Sheffield United are close to completing their first signing of the summer, according to Sky Sports.
The Blades have been working on a deal to sign QPR’s Luke Freeman in a transfer that is expected to cost the Premier League new boys around £3m.
The former Arsenal academy player enjoyed an impressive season at Loftus Road in 2018/19, landing the supporters’ Player of the Year award, and the 27-year old is reportedly keen to move to England’s top tier.
Premier League rivals battle it out for Firpo
Premier League rivals Liverpool and Man Utd will reportedly go head to head for Real Betis left-back Junior Firpo, according to rumours surfacing in Spain.
The 22-year old, who is valued at around £35m, enjoyed a productive season in La Liga in 2018/19, notching 3 goals and 4 assists in 22 starts for Betis overall.
With Andrew Robertson and Luke Shaw firmly established as the first choice left backs at Liverpool and United respectively, we’re not sure this rumour has legs.

Pogba has expressed his desire to leave Old Trafford for a new challenge this summer with former club Juventus and Spanish giants Real Madrid thought to be in the running to sign the World Cup winning midfielder.
