The second leg in Dublin between Dundalk and BATE on Tuesday night.  Our predictions are for a comfortable BATE win after their dominance in the first leg on home soil.

Dundalk vs BATE Predictions, Betting Tips and Match Previews

Reason For Dundalk vs BATE Betting Tips

BATE absolutely dominated Dundalk last week in the first leg of this tie. A total of 23 shots, 7 on target and they struck the woodwork on two occasions. However despite their dominance BATE only won the game 1-0.

Dundalk are relatively inexperienced in the Champions League. They’ve played just five games in the competition and are without a win, drawing three and losing the other two. Trailing 1-0 from the first they have to push men forward to win if they want any chance of progressing through to the next round.

If you look at BATE’s bare form away from home in the Champions League it’s poor, with five draws and five losses in the last ten games. However, they’ve been playing against the likes of Barcelona, Roma, Leverkusen, Bilbao and Porto. I think they’ll dominate Dundalk on Tuesday night and are a cracking price at 20/21 with bet365 to follow up the first leg with a victory. A correct score of 2-0 at 7/1 with bet365 also looks like a good bet with Dundalk having to play more attacking than last week which should see them concede more goals.

Head to Head

BATE have won both home games against Dundalk 2-1 and 1-0 but only managed a 0-0 draw away from home back in 2015.
